General Public Visits

Bishop Wild Bird Sanctuary is a wonderful place for seeing a variety of birds and wildlife in their natural, undisturbed habitat.

We have beautiful walking trails, peaceful gardens, and a lakefront dock (eek, not any more! Our dock was taking out by the flooding and stormy weather on Kalamalka Lake this spring!). A brand new viewing platform has been constructed, overlooking the sanctuary property, Kalamalka lake, and the valley.

Our resident caretakers welcome visits, but appreciate you booking in advance as our hours are by appointment.  Admission into the Bishop Wild Bird Sanctuary is by donation.

Please book your visit below.

We look forward to seeing you soon!

Please print our self-guided tour or use it on your mobile device while walking through the sanctuary to learn more about the flora and fauna on the property as well as the history of BWBS.
